We study the impact of new technologies on socio-economic development. We are active in the Polish and European innovation ecosystem. Our belief is that technological progress should aim at increasing the wellbeing of the citizens by, among other, fighting unequal opportunities and offering novel services of welfare state.

Board

Michał Hetmański

President of the Board

He is responsible for Instrat's research and advisory work on just transition with coal regions, as well as projects on labor market and tax systems. He gained experience working for an employer association, transaction advisory firm in Germany and in the public sector or as World Bank consultant. Studied in Poland (SGH Warsaw School of Economics), Germany (University of Cologne) and Swizerland (St. Gallen University).
