Starting May 20th, we are taking off with Offshore Wind Talks – BLUECEE – a series of three webinars covering various aspects of offshore wind energy. The series is co-organized by Instrat and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture of the University of Zagreb as part of the BLUECEE project – Strengthening Political and Governance Capacity in Blue Energy in Central and Eastern Europe. As the meeting gathers participants from across Europe, webinars and discussions will be held in English.
BLUECEE – Unleashing Offshore Potential
The BLUECEE aims to unlock the energy potential hidden in Poland’s, Croatia’s, Bulgaria’s, and Romania’s offshore wind energy. Establishing knowledge exchange formats will strengthen readiness for decisive actions, good management practices, and consolidate Europe’s leadership position in this sector.
To achieve this, BLUECEE is creating political advocacy, a knowledge repository, and informational tools, such as the Black Sea Renewable Energy Coalition platform. Instrat Foundation participates in the project along with other stakeholders from Croatia (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, University of Zagreb), Romania (Energy Policy Group), and Bulgaria (Center for the Study of Democracy).
Deep-dive into the offshore networking
Through webinars, we aim to create a platform for discussing the key (and common) challenges related to offshore wind energy development in Europe. The meetings will allow the exchange of experiences between global professionals developing offshore projects and representatives of relatively new markets in Central and Eastern Europe and introduce ongoing international projects. There will also be space for networking: promoting good practices, discussion, and conclusions.
