Katarzyna Szwarc

Board member

Lawyer and public policy expert in the area of capital markets and sustainable finance. Leader of the Sustainable finance for just transition programme at Instrat and a Policy Fellow at the London School of Economics Grantham Institute of Climate Change. She acquired professional experience at the Warsaw Stock Exchange and New York Stock Exchange in London. Participant of Mariana Mazzucato’s “Rethinking Capitalism” programme at University College London.

Bartlomiej Kupiec

Energy and environmental analyst

Founder and Editor-in-chief of the web portal Energystreamer. He is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in law at the Jagiellonian University and used to work with Ignacy Lukasiewicz Energy Policy Institute. Activist for sustainable development.

Karolina Porębna

Expert on sustainable development

Graduate of University of Warsaw and Warsaw School of Economics. Her main interests include socio-economic issues of Scandinavian countries, labor market and climate change. She has experience of cooperation with think-tanks, as well as participation in international projects on enterpreneurship, democracy and sustainable development.

Nikodem Szewczyk

Analyst, coordinator of education projects

He holds CFA Society Poland scholarship, as well as PUEB and UW Rector’s scholarship. His interests focus on economics of inequality, crisis theory, public policy and economic sociology. Works as analyst for Institute for Structural Research and research assistant for Polish Academy of Sciences. He gained professional experience in global management consulting and innovation ecosystem. Currently studies at SGH in Warsaw and UW.

Jan J. Zygmuntowski

Digital economy expert

Economist studying the fields of development, economic systems, innovation theory and digital economy. Lecturer at Kozminski University, graduate of the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH), G20 Global Solutions Fellow and British Council and Møller Institute FLC Fellow. His previous experience includes e.g. work at Polish Development Fund. He advises and supports tech projects with positive social impact. Author of “Kapitalizm sieci” (eng. “Network capitalism”).

Blanka Wawrzyniak

Competition law analyst

Analuyst of Polish and European regulations. She became knowledgable in European law during her work at the Permanent Representation of Poland to the EU in Brussels. Moreover, she gained experience in the field of competition and consumer law in the Allen & Overy law firm. She studied at the University of Lodz, Vilnius University and University of Antwerp.

Filip Lamański

Comms coordinator

Journalist, founder and editor-in-chief of Obserwator Gospodarczy platform. He specializes in aviation, transport and economic policy. He is associated with the University of Economics in Poznań. As a journalist, he is active in maintaining standards of journalistic ethics in the public space.

Krzysztof Stępień

Energy data analyst

Student in Master Engineering at Warsaw University of Technology (MEiL/PAE), who gained experience at Siemens and Transition Technologies or providing energy audit for buildings. He is responsible for data analysis and development of open source IT tools in Python.

Daniel Kiewra, PhD

Research Fellow - just transition expert

Economist and consultant with 10+ years of experience in financial and strategic analysis. Project manager and co-author of studies delivered to major Polish and European social partners, with focus on industrial policy, labor market and social dialogue, energy transition.

Stanisław Stefaniak

Senior analyst - regulatory policy

PhD candidate in law at AMU in Poznań, where he obtained law degree and studied philosophy. Attorney-trainee at the Warsaw Bar Association. He advised financial institutions in regulatory and transactional matters working for leading Polish law firms.
