The Instrat Foundation is an official partner of this year’s International Congress of Polish Student Societies, which takes place on 2-3.02.2024 in Amsterdam. On this occasion, Dr Jarosław Kopeć led a workshop on ‘Thinking with Data Visualisation‘ for conference participants.

The group worked on several data sets (not only energy data) and thought about what conclusions could be drawn from them. One of the key tools in the analyst’s workshop helped with the exploration: data visualisation.

This was not a course on how to use visualisation tools. Rather than handling specific tools, the aim was to reinforce the ability to think about data in a visual way and to exercise the research imagination.
