Instrat partners up with Economic Forum

We are pleased to announce that Instrat Foundation is one of the institutional partners of this year’s edition of the Economic Forum and has taken patronage of one of the thematic blocks.

THEMATIC BLOCK: How to achieve the EU climate goals for 2030 with the participation of Poland?

Block description: After the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the energy crisis, Poland faces the task of adapting its medium- and long-term energy transition strategies to new economic and geopolitical realities. Experts will jointly consider what Poland’s future energy mix should look like after 2030. After the end of support from the power market for coal-fired power plants and a radical reduction in the profitability of their widespread use, and before the launch of a nuclear power plant, Poland will face the challenge of quickly filling the power gap in the market. The starting point for the discussion will be the results of Instrat’s modeling of the most cost-effective power mix in 2030.

The block will include two events with Instrat experts:

PRESENTATION: Challenges and opportunities for a RES-based energy system

DISCUSSION PANEL: How to achieve the EU climate goals for 2030 with the participation of Poland?
