Poland Digitally Sovereign

In the spring of 2020, an expert coalition, the Polish Digital Sovereignty Charter, started to work on a package of rules that would enable sustainable and socially beneficial development of the digital economy in Poland. The report “Poland digitally sovereign” was a result of the coalition’s work and ongoing dialogue with different stakeholders whose aim was to design and implement the most effective policies in the field of the digital economy.

The report consists of the examination of the problems in three main areas: 1) Taxes in the digital economy; 2) Competition and transparency; and 3) Citizens protection. On the basis of the analysis, 17 precise recommendations, that would benefit the Polish regulatory ecosystem, have been formulated.
